The EX40 series of power supplies is the configurable open frame power supply series from Excelsys Technologies. Configured to your
particular requirements, the EX40 series ensures that you do not have to make compromises in order to satisfy your system
requirements. Options include, Universal Input, DC inputs and Medically approved units. EX40 has carries full international safety
approvals, UL1950 and EN60950 for the EXS and EXD series, and UL2601-1 and EN6601-1 for the medically approved EXM series..
Boasting a 91.5 x 63 x 30.5mm compact form factor, the EX40 series saves valuable board space.

When calculating power capabilities of each output, please note overall power consumption of PSU and the current limitation
on each output.
Example
V1=5V/4A, V2=12V/1A, V3=15V/0.5A
20CFM system cooling is available.
V1 can deliver up to 5A. V1 Power = 5V x 4A = 20W.
20W power is available for use between other outputs
V2 can deliver up to 1A. V2 Power = 12V x 1A = 12W
8W power is available for use on final output.
V3 can deliver 0.8A. V3 power = 15V x 0.5A = 7.5W
Total power = 39.5W.
Total power is less than 40W rating of PSU.
